How many wins will we get this season?

Based upon the home court advantage that was evidenced by the Hornets that should work toward the Thunder's advantage. I know that it may very well be the most difficult division in the most difficult conference, however I really think that this team won 20 last year, they should be able to build on that with at least 5 more wins.

I think 25 wins is probable and I will be pleased. 30 wins will be awesome. 20 wins would be okay, but it would show that we still have some building.

Best thing I can say is that I have faith in Sam Presti.

I think that 38 is a bad number to shoot for. You are out of a great draft pick but you still are not close to the playoffs. I would rather go 20-25 for a couple of years then go straight to 45-50 (aka Blazers).

The Thunder should be better ... and a good home court will add 3 or 4 wins ... but there are a number of teams in the West that are improved. I am hoping for 30 wins, but won't be surprised with 25.

completely agree. 30 will be a successful season this year. i think their two years from gettin the pieces to make that "Blazers" transition. when they do make the jump though... a matured KD with a little more muscle-an athletic strong point in russell westbrook- a couple more nice drafts...

add a little smart managing and their gonna be ready to do their thing

That sounds realistic I say around the same 20-25 sounds like a fair shot I don't think they will break the 30 mark but they could come close with a little luck.

Uhhhm, I'm guessing you haven't seen them play much. I love your optimism, and I'd sh** my pants if they did win 38 but it'll never, ever happen.

They will not win more than 26 at the most. Carleisimo will be fired. Presti didn't even give Carleisimo an endorsement for this season until about a month after the season. He was asked numerous times and wouldn't answer the question of whether PJ would be back this season until late after the season.

My guess is that Nick and Weezy (nickname for wilcox) will play together in the frontcourt with Joe Smith and Green. Earl will start with Durant. Westbrook and Dez will backup and a little bit of Weaver and Damien. This team is actually probably worse than the team that started last year. Last year we had Kurt Thomas (our best per minute rebounder), Wally Z to back up the 2 and 3 and Delonte won a few games for us. Ridnour was the best distributor this team had. This year we have Westbrook, a rookie (good defense though), DJ White who won't get many minutes, and the same ineffective guys at Center.

If you think the team will be better, I'd like to know based on what?
