How many wins will we get this season?

Didn't the Hornets get better since they returned to NO? The Rockets have the best regular season record over the last 50 games and they play to a half full house. I've been to at least 50 NBA games and I haven't scored a point in a game yet....LOL.

Counting wins? It's going to be a long season if that is your concern.

No doubt man! I know everyone is just proud to watch this team of ours and dont give a crap about the W and Ls but for me i just love seeing wins and I dont want to lose this great thing that OKC has! I want them to win and stay here forever!

Uhhhm, I'm guessing you haven't seen them play much. I love your optimism, and I'd sh** my pants if they did win 38 but it'll never, ever happen.

They will not win more than 26 at the most. Carleisimo will be fired. Presti didn't even give Carleisimo an endorsement for this season until about a month after the season. He was asked numerous times and wouldn't answer the question of whether PJ would be back this season until late after the season.

My guess is that Nick and Weezy (nickname for wilcox) will play together in the frontcourt with Joe Smith and Green. Earl will start with Durant. Westbrook and Dez will backup and a little bit of Weaver and Damien. This team is actually probably worse than the team that started last year. Last year we had Kurt Thomas (our best per minute rebounder), Wally Z to back up the 2 and 3 and Delonte won a few games for us. Ridnour was the best distributor this team had. This year we have Westbrook, a rookie (good defense though), DJ White who won't get many minutes, and the same ineffective guys at Center.

If you think the team will be better, I'd like to know based on what?

I have to agree with you, I don't think the team got better in the off season, while some other teams with bad records like our clearly did. Ridnour, Thomas, Wally, and Delonte won a few of those games for us and provided leadership. I'm going to say we will go 18-64. Which is a good thing. Win too many games too soon and we will be stuck in the middle for years. Get a couple of top draft picks and with any luck we're competing among the leagues best in a few years.

I really hate a 35-40 win ball team. You're lousy enough to never make the playoffs or lose right away if you do. You win just enough games so you never get a decent draft pick. You have to be bad enough and get lucky and get a Duncan, O'Neil, or James to build your team around. Durant is good, but not the cornerstone of a great team.

Current pace - 6 1/3 wins...even Happy was way off with is 15 wins ouch.

i'm just sayin'. Eleven is a good number for them. Maybe if they had 15 more games scheduled against the Grizzlies, i'd give them say, 20 wins.
